Welcome to Lake Guntersville State Park Campground, located along the scenic shores of the 69,000-acre lake! RV CAMPING
50/30 amp sites and 30 amp sites are available with sewer and water. Tents are not permitted on full-hookup sites. One tent, in addition to the trailer or RV, is allowed for children under 18 for $5 per night, plus tax. A picnic table, a grill, and a fire pit are located at the site. The maximum length of stay is 14 days.
TeNT CAMPING
One tent is allowed per site. One additional tent is allowed for children under 18 years of age for $5 per night, plus tax. Water and electric tent sites are available. Primitive tent sites are available at Town Creek and do not have electric or water hookups. Generators are not allowed. The maximum length of stay is seven (7) days.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
- Reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Accepted payment methods include cash, Apple Pay, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Checks will not be accepted.
- Cancellations must be made at least three (3) days prior to arrival to receive a refund. No refunds will be issued within three (3) days of arrival.
- Refunds will not be given for early departures.
PETS
Pets are welcome but must be on a leash or line at all times and may not be left outside unattended. Waste must be disposed of properly.
GOLF CARTS
Golf carts must be operated by a licensed driver and are only permitted on campground roads. All speed limits must be obeyed. Only properly tagged, road-legal golf carts are permitted on main park roads.

- Minimum stay requirements are two (2) nights minimum on weekends and three (3) nights minimum for major holiday weekends.
- Check-in is between 2:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M., and check-out is at 11:00 A.M. Campers arriving after 9:00 P.M. will be directed to the overflow parking (with electric and water) by the front gate guard. No campers will be placed on site after quiet hours.
- Minimum age to rent a site is 18.
- Maximum of 8 persons per site.
- Only two vehicles are allowed per site. Additional parking is available at our beach area.
