Volunteering
Our goal at Lake Guntersville State Park is to provide our guests with the best in accommodations and facilities. While park staff perform many of the daily tasks and duties it takes to operate the park, volunteers are vital to its continued success. The Volunteer In Parks (VIP) program was established to enable individuals or groups to make a positive impact at their favorite park. This unique combination of employees and volunteers helps ensure that all our guests and visitors have an enjoyable and memorable experience.
The primary purpose of the VIP program is to provide knowledgeable, responsible, and available volunteers to assist in visitor services and interpretive education, and also to enhance the recreational experience of others by maintaining or improving the grounds and facilities that they use.
