Welcome to beautiful Lake Guntersville State Park! Nestled into Taylor Mountain, among the Pines and Hardwoods, this park overlooks the 69,000-acre Lake Guntersville. The 6,000-acre park is teaming with wildlife that make their homes in the ridgetops and meadows.
The Lodge Complex rests on the brow of Taylor Mountain and offers the most picturesque views. It boasts spacious lounging areas with fireplaces, the Pinecrest Dining Room, venues for meetings or weddings, a pool, and a fitness area complete with saunas. Overnight accommodations include the Lodge Rooms, Lakeside Cabins, Mountain Top Chalets, and two campgrounds along the waters edge.
Town Creek Fishing Center and the Campground Store offer basic items for campers and fishermen. Other areas of interest include the Lodge’s gift shop, the Nature Nook, the Eagles Nest Golf Course, Screaming Eagle Zipline, rentable pavilions, several day use areas, and miles of multi-use trials.
