Go outdoors on the first NIGHT of the New Year!  A guided hiking tour is the perfect way to experience the outdoors. You can just enjoy all the beauty that the hike has to offer. The Butler Pass Trail is a pleasant easy trail. It connects to the Nature Trail. Butlers Pass offers a stunning view of Lake Guntersville State Park and the lake. Eagles may be seen in the upper reaches of the park during the hike. In spring you can see many wild azaleas, hydrangea, and dogwood. Park Naturalist, Tom Giordano, offers customized, private guided hiking tours and trips for small groups. For more information, call (334)306-2148 or email thomas.giordano@dcnr.alabama.gov.
