Cheaha Mountain Store
The Cheaha mountain store welcomes you as you enter the park. The front desk processes all reservations, check-ins, sells souvenirs, snacks, and cold drinks. If you have any questions the staff at the Mountain Store will be happy to answer them. Across the street is a coin-operated laundry. The store is stocked with food and supply items necessary for camping and picnicking. Gift cards are also available, which are redeemable in all 21 Alabama State Park facilities.
Gem Mine
You don't have to be a kid to enjoy the Pinhoti Mineral and Gem Mining Co. Adults can enjoy finding gems and treasures from around the world as well! You can purchase gem and fossil bags at the Country Store from $6.00-$25.00. See what wonderful treasures you might uncover! Each bag purchased includes a brochure to help you identify the gems and fossils you find. Sample gems you can find are Moss Agate from Asia, Emerald Calcite from Mexico, Green Jade from Africa, and so many more!
Our gem mine is located behind the Native American Artifacts Museum and across the street from the Mountain Store.
