Chill-0-Ween Mountain Chili Cook-Off and Salsa Challenge
So you think your chili is the best? Come up to the highest mountain in Alabama and prove it! Compete with other great cooks for bragging rights. Last year we had 35 contenders and 800 tasters!! Tasting starts at 11:00 am and ends at 1:00 pm CDT (Awards at 1:30 pm)
Chili Cook-off and Salsa Challenge located in the grand ballroom of the Cheaha State Park Historic Bald Rock Lodge.
Set up begins at 9:00 am and exhibits should be ready for inspection by 10:30 am CDT
Award Categories:
Three “Best Chili on Cheaha” Awards (First, Second, and Third Place by Official Cheaha Judges) One
“People’s Choice of Best Chili on Cheaha” Award (Guest Voters)

One Best Booth Presentation: Theme of YOUR choice…make it fun!
Please make your entry at home and bring it ready to heat and serve. We have refrigerators if you need to keep something cool. But we will NOT be heating anything in the lodge kitchen.
One table and two chairs will be provided per entry (for the first 20 entries). Bring your own table cloth, signs, give-a-ways, and decorations. Bring your own ladles, chips, crackers, condiments and accessories. Tasting cups will be provided for by Cheaha State Park.

Mountain Chili Competition & Salsa Challenge, live music, storytelling, vendors, folk crafts, and food. PLUS Bigfoot Bio bash 5K Trail Run and Trick or Treating at 3:00 pm in the Improved Campgrounds.

Time: Chili Competition 11:00 am – 2:00 pm CDT; Other activities from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm CDT
Fee: $5 per person at the gate (Children under 3 free)
