Pelham PD Polar Plunge for Special Olympics
PELHAM PD POLAR PLUNGE FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS
Plunge into icy cold waters this winter to help provide over 15,000 Special Olympics Alabama athletes with an opportunity to participate in sports training and competition programs that help them live longer, happier, healthier lives.
Food will be available for purchase from some local food trucks, so come have lunch before the plunge. Anyone in attendance can buy chances to win one of three grand prizes (details soon!). ALL proceeds raised will benefit Special Olympics Alabama.
Each person registered to plunge will receive a T-shirt and a chance to win a fun door prize.
Schedule:
12:00pm: Check-in / On-site Registration begins in the main park office
12:00pm - 3:00pm: Eat lunch with us. Food will be available for purchase from food trucks throughout the event.
1:50pm: Safety Briefing
2:00pm: Polar Plunge

Advance registration cost - $35 (T-shirt size guaranteed)
Day-of registration cost - $45 (T-shirt size NOT guaranteed)
*Note: There's a 2.9% processing fee added to each ticket. This is much less than what Eventbrite has collected from you in the past. This was done to ensure your full donation goes to Special Olympics Alabama.
