Swimming and Sandy Beaches at Oak Mountain State Park
Oak Mountain State Park offers two sandy beaches for you to enjoy! Our largest beach is located off of Terrace Drive and on Double Oak Lake. The other sandy beach is located at the North end of the park near Flipside Watersports on Beaver Lake. There are bathrooms located near each beach for your convenience. Additionally, a concession stand is available seasonally, offering snacks and beverages at the Beach on Double Oak Lake.
Rules for Both Beaches
- No alcohol allowed on the beach or in any adjacent areas.
- No pets on beach.
- Swim at your own risk, no lifeguard on duty.
- No grills or open flames on the beach.
- No glass containers on beach.
