Swimming and Beaches
Oak Mountain State Park offers two sandy beaches on our lakes for you to enjoy! You can find one located on Terrace Drive, which is our largest beach, and off of Double Oak Lake. The other beach is located at the back of the lake near Flipside Watersports on Beaver Lake. There are bathrooms located near each beach for your convenience. Additionally, a concession stand is available seasonally, offering snacks and beverages at the Beach on Double Oak Lake.
Rules for Both Beaches
- NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED ON BEACH.
- NO PETS ALLOWED ON BEACH.
- SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
- NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.
- NO GRILLS OR OPEN FLAMES ON BEACH.
- NO GLASS CONTAINERS ON BEACH.
