Campfire Talk: Appalachian Abilities
Campfire Talk: Appalachian Abilities
In a world, before grocery stores, pharmacies, and fast-food restaurants people relied on the land and their skills to survive. They used plants for everything from dinner, to house walls, to medicine, to so much more. Now more than ever are people learning old skills for the Appalachian Mountains. For more information email Mandy.Pearson@dcnr.alabama.gov or call 256 412-9938.
We are committed to providing programs that are educational, fun, and safe. Family units will be spaced out from other family units. We will provide hand sanitizer stations. Our presenter will use a microphone to project to a larger spaced group.
