Did you know that Cheaha has its very own leprechaun? With hair as black as crow feathers and eyes as blue and shimmery as sparkling topaz, Cheroy the Leprechaun uses his special trickster talents to bring smiles and giggles to the guests of Cheaha! This St. Patrick’s Day, or Leprechaun Day, as Cheroy likes to call it, Cheroy has decided to hide a very special treat in Cheaha State Park for one lucky guest to find! Every Thursday leading up to St. Patrick’s Day, tune into Cheaha’s Facebook Page for a new story about Cheroy and a new clue as to where he has hidden his special treat at Cheaha. Then, on St. Patrick’s Day, (Thursday, March 17, 2022) make your way to Cheaha State Park and see if you can find the special treat (to be redeemed at the Mountain Store for a prize)!
Cheroy would never want to disturb Cheaha’s overnight guests or park staff, so he wants everyone to know that his special surprise is expertly hidden in one of Cheaha State Park’s publicly accessible areas!
