First Day Hike
Start your new year off enjoying the beauty of an Alabama State Park. On the First Day Hike, we will be hiking on the Leave No Trace Bigfoot Challenge trail up Cheaha Mountain to Alabama's highest point(1 mile total). This is an interpretative hike that will be led by Mandy Pearson, Cheaha State Park Naturalist. She will teach about plants, animals, native Americans, the Civilian Conservation Corp, ecosystems, Leave No Trace and much more.
