Cheaha Adventure Hike: McDill Point
Strap on your hiking boots, grab your backpack, fill your water bottle, and get ready for an exhilarating recreational hike to McDill Point from Cheaha State Park! Join Chris Parker, experienced hiker and Cheaha’s Park Operations Specialist, on this outdoor adventure that is sure to offer splendid views and fantastic memories. Don’t miss out on the fun!
Hiking Notes:
•Bring a lightweight backpack with all of the essentials that you would need to survive for four or more hours on a trail: snacks, lots of water (at least 100 oz. is recommended), a packed lunch, a bag for food/beverage trash, etc.
•Dress in layers and pack a rain jacket. Cheaha’s summer weather can be unpredictable, and rain showers are always possible.
•Bring hiking sticks if desired.
•Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required for the hike. Hiking boots are strongly suggested.
•Dogs are welcome! (Note to pups: make sure to leash your humans!)
