Gulf State Park

Coastal Alabama has long been known for its great fishing.We’ll take a look at the local efforts to create valuable habitat which has resulted in Alabama having the largest artificial reef program in the United States. And we’ll learn about the discovery of the newest (but oldest) natural reef - Alabama’s Underwater Forest comprised of 60,000-year-old cypress trees located 10 miles off the coast. Meet at the Learning Campus.
