The Gulf State Park Visitor Center is your go-to source for all things Gulf State Park. Located within the Lake Shelby Picnic Area, trail maps, annual parking passes, and our helpful staff are available to assist you in making the most of your park adventure.

Annual Parking Decal Rates:
Annual Parking Decal
- $100.00 per decal - Valid through December 31, 2025
- $200.00 per decal - Available for purchase starting November 1, 2025; valid through December 31, 2026
- Available for purchase at Park Headquarters and Visitor Center
- Valid for one calendar year (January 1 - December 31)
- One decal per vehicle
Orange Beach Resident Parking
- Free with a valid driver's license displaying the Orange Beach address
- Available at Orange Beach City Hall under Orange Beach Policy
- Valid for one calendar year (January 1 - December 31)
- One decal per vehicle
United States Military Service Member Parking
- Free for active, former, and veteran service members as defined by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Proper proof of service and a valid ID are required.
- Available at Gulf State Park Headquarters and Gulf State Park Visitor Center
- Decal does not expire
- One decal per service member
Annual and Veteran parking decals must be permanently affixed to the front driver ‘s side corner of the windshield to allow parking enforcement to easily identify relevant information.
