Girl Scouts at Gulf 2023

Get ready for a thrilling day packed with adventure and fun at Lake Shelby and the Gulf State Park Pier! We'll start our day at 9:30 am by gathering at the lake, where we'll take an easy hike towards the TurtleFest at the Pier. At 10:00 am, TurtleFest takes center stage, promising a whirlwind of activities both on the pier and below in the sand. And don't you worry about a thing, as we've got wristbands ready for you. Simply prepay for the girls, and they're all set to immerse themselves in the magic of TurtleFest until 10:45 am or maybe even 11, if they're having a blast!

After an action-packed morning, it's time to head back to Lake Shelby. Enjoy your scrumptious picnic lunch by the lake and fly your kites!

Feeling the thrill? Well, get ready for an exploration like no other as we join forces with a Park Naturalist for an epic Seine adventure from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Let the girls' curiosity guide them as they discover the wonders hidden beneath the water's surface. Whether they're captivated for the entire time or prefer a shorter adventure, the Seine experience promises to be an unforgettable highlight of the day.

But wait, there's more! At 2:00 pm, we'll embark on a self-guided or Scout leader-guided walk along the mesmerizing Lake Crossing Trail. It's the perfect opportunity to explore the trails. You can choose to document your journey in a journal, engage in an exciting scavenger hunt, or simply revel in the beauty of nature as you stroll along. The choice is yours!

As the day draws to a close, we'll make our way back to Lake Shelby, reflecting on the incredible memories we've created together.
