Gulf State Park

Meet our Naturalist at the Lake Shelby Picnic Area and enjoy a guided walk over scenic board walks and trails around the lake. Your guide will share the beautiful natural surroundings, point out some of the towering trees, lush vegetation, and teach you how to identify the sounds of birds and other wildlife. This trail provides a wonderful way to connect with nature and explore the beautiful Gulf State Park. Bring binoculars if you have them. We have a few to share. Wear comfortable shoes and bring bug spray and a bottle of water.
