Preserving Snake Skin

Several months ago, we skinned a cottonmouth that had been struck and killed by snake and are now ready to clean the hide and preserve it. Come to the Nature Center and observe our Naturalist as she cleans the snake skin and prepares it for educational use. This is a come and go, observe at any point during the process. She will begin working at 10 AM and her work will last a couple hours.
